Holy Moly and Ah Ah Ah!

Weird title, eh? Well, HOLY MOLY, my show is NEXT WEEK! 6 DAYS! I'm praying that we will be ready. Alex, Alanna, and I are supposed to meet up tomorrow to go over EVERYTHING just to get it right before we start honing in on tech. We SHOULD have been doing tech all this week, but a combination of bad scheduling, no chaperoning, a vicious janitor who takes his job way too seriously, and a plethora of potential stage crew peeps in time consuming night classes made that impossible. So, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we'll be running tech and I'll be hoping that it looks good. My plan: Monday, focus on Act 1. Tuesday, focus on Act 2. Wednesday, run both. Thursday at 11:15 a.m. we go on!!! Holy moly. Please God, let my show be okay. I'm worried because Alex likes to sleep until 4 on Saturdays and with all the tension between the three of us, oy...

Ah, ah, ah! I got into the Freshman Summer Start Program at UCSB and I'm picking out my classes. It's very unnerving. I'm like, yikes over here. It's so HARD to schedule college classes. Especially when there's only limited ones since there'll be only 376 students there. Ah!

Other than those two pieces of news, I have some sad stuff. John Altieri, my Idyllwild Arts Summer Camp theatre teacher/director passed away Sunday due to complications from pneumonia. It's very sad. He was only 38 and a health nut. So many people will miss him.

Not much else to report. I'm so scared for all this stuff that's coming up!!! Especially the show!!! Oh my God!!! Yikes! Please let this show be a good one. And please let Alanna and Alex not be menstrual for this next week. Please God.

Can I have a copy of the script? I really want to read it! Or/And if you record it... I want to see it! I told my parents to go see your show, and I think that they will, because they love you too!

dylan. DYLAAAAAAN. I just read this entire blog. Yes, every single post from start to now.
I have a plethora of things to say to you. Here we go:

1. I cried as well when I heard you got in an accident. I started showing people on my hall at school videos I have of you on my computer and pictures from drama and the play. I could not imagine this planet minus a Dylan Hale. Its just.. wrong in every way.
2. You have accomplished so much, I hardly think its possible that I KNOW you! You blow me away just talking about how your life rolls by, the way high ups and crazy low downs. Mr. Phillips was right, you know, when he said that you were a little world-weary and wise. I heavily agree.
3. I regretfully did not see your one man show. I've heard about it but no one ever told me when it was. I got home from school about two weeks ago and next thing I know, your show is a thing of the past. Wtf. I do not like this. If you DO have it recorded, I will do whatever it takes to see it! I saw Mr. C today at the donut shop and he still likes me. hahha so I mean, bribery, whatever. I will shave off my hair. (not all, I mean, I have awesome hair.)
4. I remember when you were a freshman and we would sit outside drama class and talk about the atkin's diet. You were on it then and we definitely not excited about it at ALL. You were the first dylan I had ever met and I remember telling you that too. I also remember you being a certain evil doctor and I loved it when you said "ri-freakin-diculous!" and we had the aluminum-foiled "woody" as mini-me. And sunshine was Frau Farbissina. Oh sunshine..
5. I miss you with the fire of a thousand suns. And I like your friends to, those that you talk about anyway. Let us hang out. Whenever, wherever. I mean, I AM pretty entertaining and so are you. We could uh, put on a show? Dance in the woods? Play the Jazz flute in the park for the homeless men (and women. or woman. depends on the day..)
6. keep blogging. its intense and now that I am home, i hardly have anything to do. consider me a new avid reader. booo-yeah.
